Frequently Asked Questions

When is the coffee roasted?

After you place an order, it enters our roasting partner’s production and fulfillment process. Coffee is roasted in controlled small batches based on customer demand, helping reduce the amount of time finished coffee spends in storage before shipment.

Who roasts and fulfills the coffee?

We partner with Temecula Coffee Roasters in Temecula, California, to roast, package, and fulfill our coffee. Honeydrip Coffee Co. is a family-owned coffee company based in Chino Hills, California.

How long does fulfillment and delivery take?

Our roasting partner’s current fulfillment time is typically 2–4 business days. During this period, your coffee is roasted, packaged, and prepared for shipment.

After your order ships, carrier delivery typically takes an additional 1–5 business days, depending on the destination and carrier operations.

Most customers can expect their orders to arrive within approximately 3–9 business days from the order date. These timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Free standard shipping is included with every Honeydrip Coffee Co. order within the United States. No minimum purchase is required.

What grind should I choose?

Choose the grind that matches your brewing method:

  • Whole Bean: Best if you own a grinder and prefer to grind immediately before brewing.

  • Drip: Recommended for most traditional automatic drip coffee makers.

  • Fine: Recommended for many espresso machines that use a portafilter.

  • Coarse: Recommended for cold brew and many French press preparations.

Brewing equipment can vary, so check the instructions provided with your coffee maker or grinder if you are unsure.

How should I store my coffee?

Keep your coffee sealed inside its original valved bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, heat, and strong odors.

For everyday use, room-temperature storage in a pantry or cupboard is recommended. Avoid repeatedly exposing the coffee to moisture or major temperature changes.

Is Honeydrip coffee specialty grade?

Our coffee collection is developed and sold as specialty-grade coffee. The specific composition, roast level, origin information, and flavor profile vary by product.

Some Honeydrip coffees are single-origin selections, while others are intentionally developed blends. Certain blends may contain both Arabica and Robusta coffees. Please review the individual product page for the most accurate information about each coffee.

Where is the coffee sourced?

Our coffees are sourced from coffee-growing regions around the world. Origins vary by product and may change based on seasonal availability and the components selected for a particular blend.

When specific origin information is available, it is displayed on the individual product page. Our rotating Coffee of the Month selections include additional information about the country, region, producer, processing method, elevation, and tasting profile when provided by our roasting partner.

What does “roasted on demand” mean?

“Roasted on demand” means that your order enters our roasting partner’s small-batch production process after it is placed. We do not keep finished bags of coffee stored at our Chino Hills location waiting to be sold.

Roasting and fulfillment occur according to our partner’s production schedule and are typically completed within 2–4 business days.

What ingredients are used in flavored coffee?

Our flavored coffees are made with coffee and natural flavorings. The ingredients are identified on the individual product page and product label.

Does flavored coffee contain allergens?

We do not recommend assuming that any flavored coffee is allergen-free unless that information has been specifically confirmed for the product.

Ingredient and manufacturing information can vary, and products may be prepared in facilities that handle additional ingredients. If you have a food allergy or serious sensitivity, contact us before ordering so we can request the most current information available from our roasting partner.
